She likes writing and doing graphics and design and made a mark as a social media influencer in her own ways. Pasaka Festival of Tanauan, Leyte is this year's Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival of Festivals 2019 Grand Champion

Pasaka Festival contingent announced as the Grand Champion and defending the title in this years Kasadyaan Festival 2019, held recently in Tacloban City. And to Tribu Mangirisda of TNHS on there 4th straight win in the Pintados Category.  The 2nd Place goes to Tolo-Usa of Tolosa, Leyte and the 3rd Place to the contingent of Makarato Festival of Matuginao, Samar.         Photos: Tanauan Leyte - A delightful Place A grand parade kicked off the Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival of Festivals, thursday morning in the streets of Tacloban. Remedios L. Petilla, the current Mayor of Palo, Leyte and chairperson of the event, said four contingents from Leyte and Samar participated in the parade. They are the Pasaka Festival of Tanauan, Tulo-usa Festival of Tolosa and Haru Tambalan Festival of Jaro, all in Leyte, and the Macarato Festival of Matuguinao in Samar. The Piña Festival 2019 ended with a spectacular light show that most of the participating contingents performed with an energetic performances from the beat of the Piña samba. Mayor Richard Gomez congratulated the Piña Committee headed by the Ormoc Cultural and Festival Foundation Inc. Chairwoman Mrs. Estrelita Serafica Pangilinan for a successful holding of the Piña Festival 2019. Piña Festival 2019: Get ready for this Sunday's Piña Festival street dance and ritual dance showdown

The most awaited festival the Piña Festival commences on the 23rd June, Sunday 2019. The Piña Festival is one of the most awaited festivals in the Province of Leyte that is celebrated every June in the City of Beautiful People. The festival is held in honor of the Sts. Peter and Paul. Fun, merry and colorful street-dancing fill the streets of Ormoc as part of its celebration and the Grand Showdown and Piña Festival Queen will be held at the Ormoc City Quadrangle. Metro Gaisano execs holds meeting with LGU Ormoc

Photo: Ormoc City Government FB Page Executives of Metro Gaisano Retail express their intention to put up its first Metro Gaisano Department Store brand in Ormoc City. The Metro executives meet with the Local Government of Ormoc headed by Mayor Richard Gomez, 4th District of Leyte Congresswoman Lucy Torres Gomez and the sangguniang panlungsod members. The said meeting will help boost the economic stature of Ormoc as it will help in job creation of the city and nearby areas. It is believed that the said Department store will be built near the Ormoc City Public market area.

The lights, water, and laser show is free-to-attend and is expected to draw in thousands of Dubai residents as Dubai Festival City Mall celebrates 121 years of the Philippine Independence together with the Filipino community in the UAE. PAGASA | ITCZ will affect Visayas and Mindanao will bring rains and thunderstorms

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies, with scattered rains and thunderstorms, will affect Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, Siquijor, Biliran, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Northern Samar, Samar, Southern Leyte, and the entire Mindanao due to the ITCZ—a breeding ground for potential low pressure area and tropical cyclone. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have generally warm mornings, and isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.
