The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies, with scattered rains and thunderstorms, will affect Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, Siquijor, Biliran, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Northern Samar, Samar, Southern Leyte, and the entire Mindanao due to the ITCZ—a breeding ground for potential low pressure area and tropical cyclone.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have generally warm mornings, and isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.
PAGASA continues to advise the public to take extra precaution against possible flash flood or landslides over low-lying and mountainous areas during severe thunderstorms.
