Pasaka Festival of Tanauan, Leyte is this year's Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival of Festivals 2019 Grand Champion
Pasaka Festival contingent announced as the Grand Champion and defending the title in this years Kasadyaan Festival 2019, held recently in Tacloban City. And to Tribu Mangirisda of TNHS on there 4th straight win in the Pintados Category.
The 2nd Place goes to Tolo-Usa of Tolosa, Leyte and the 3rd Place to the contingent of Makarato Festival of Matuginao, Samar.

A grand parade kicked off the Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival of Festivals, thursday morning in the streets of Tacloban.
Remedios L. Petilla, the current Mayor of Palo, Leyte and chairperson of the event, said four contingents from Leyte and Samar participated in the parade. They are the Pasaka Festival of Tanauan, Tulo-usa Festival of Tolosa and Haru Tambalan Festival of Jaro, all in Leyte, and the Macarato Festival of Matuguinao in Samar.
Mayor Petilla said each contingent will receive P500,000 as subsidy from the office of Leyte Governor Leopoldo Dominico L. Petilla.
This year’s grand champion will receive P750,000, the second placer P500,000 and third placer P250,000, Petilla said.
While another P100,000 will go the contingents who will win for best in festival dance, the Best in Street Dance (which was won by Marakato Festival of Samar) and the Best in Costume (won by the Pasaka Festival of Tanauan, Leyte).
Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2018 Miss Eva Patalinhug also present during the Festival parade in the streets of Tacloban.
The parade is one of the events leading to the fiesta of Tacloban on June 30 that will also be followed by another Festival of the City of Tacloban the Sangyaw Festival. - AdminWowie
